Look At This Mass of Squiggles And Boxes!!!

So, here below is a QR Code. No idea what it is? Until Friday last week, I hadn't either - so many thanks to the marvellous Gia for enlightening me.

Basically, QR codes are sort of like shortcuts to various URLs - if you see one somewhere like on someone's Facebook profile, or on a big poster in the real world or on the back of a book, all you need do is take a photo of it with your phone - and the phone will take you to the website... No more tedious tapping of URLs in tiny browsers - IT'S LIKE MAGIC! Only with squiggles and boxes.

The QR code above links to the brand spanking new Deviation website. What we're asking YOU to do is simple - please share it on your Facebook walls, link to it on Twitter, put it on your blog sidebar, text it to your friends - JUST GET IT EVERYWHERE and tell everyone you know about Deviation. It'll only take a few seconds, honest. So:

Here's the direct link to the QR code online

Alternatively, take it from here or check any of Lucy V's social networking sites later on today and you will find it there too: Bang2writers and Facebook Profile and Twitter. Just click "Share" or "Retweet". Easy peasy!

Alternatively, email me and I'll send you the pic!!

Thanks so much!!! Let's get DEVIATION all over the world wide web!

The website is up and running and you can view it here.

Script Snippet # 2

FRANKIE

Look, this is London at ten past

eleven at night.  Nobody’s going

to help you, nobody’s going to

get involved.  You’re mine.

100%.  Get that in that thick

head of yours, you understand?

Script Snippet # 1

AMBER

I keep thinking about my daughter and my partner. Don’t want to leave them. Do you understand?

She searches Frankie’s face for any sign of compassion. None whatsoever. He’s not even looking at her: his eyes are on the road.

FRANKIE

Relationships, friendships, it’s never forever.

Seize The Night

Those night shoots start tonight - with temperatures of -1!!! Send blankets, scarves and sympathy to the Deviation set, pronto.

And So It Begins...

DAY ONE: G'morning everyone, we've been up & at it since 6.30am. Stand by this week for script snippets & updates from the @devmov shoot.

Final Countdown

As you can see from our timer, the shoot is almost imminent and the crew and cast are limbering up... Let's just hope there aren't too many diva demands or tantrums and tiaras!

In the meantime, we'd like to thank four fab companies who have made DEVIATION's transition from pre-prod into production a WHOLE lot easier: RGB Photographic, VMI, Panavision and Panalux.

So, if like us you're making films this winter, please do visit their websites, 'cos we can't recommend these guys enough.
